PTOffice 2022 Upgrade

We have some MAJOR improvements and upgrades we’re making to PTOffice in 2022 and we want you to be the first know!

PTOffice is excited to announce that we will be making some very big upgrades to your account over the early summer months – all in time for the new school year!

IMPORTANT – To receive the upgrade, you will be required to schedule a one-on-one session with a PTOffice support representative.

Here are just a few of the upgrades coming your way!

System Improvements
We are bringing our entire system over to the WordPress environment. Here’s what that means…

• No moving between two different programs
• No more different URLs for stores or sign ups – everything will be under your website address
• Speed improvements – no lagging from data going between two systems
• Improved error messaging throughout the application
• Simpler billing and account management

Registrations
Because we will now have the entire power of WordPress at our fingertips, we can now greatly improve our registration process and customization…

• Register and login directly on your site – not a totally different URL and system like today
• Fully customizable registration forms
• Profile-completeness tools to ensure you capture all the needed information from your parents
• Customized registration flow and redirection after successful or unsuccessful registration
• Improved import option for new members

Sign Ups
We have fixed a number of cumbersome requirements with our sign up tool to make creating sign ups as fast and as easy as ever. Here are just a few of the improvements…

• Single save button – no longer requiring saves for each panel of information
• Improved set up pages and steps to make it easy to create simple sign ups, yet allow you to create advanced sign ups
• Improved display pages – customize fonts, colors, and verbiage
• Mobile adaptive – for both tablets and phones
• Accessibility improvements to allow you to give admin rights to those who need it more easily and quickly
• More access to customizing the system email language
• Improved editing capabilities – removing the inability to switch a sign up between shifts and tasks
• Full reporting functionality – see most active volunteers and pull filtered reports across all or specific sign ups
• Improved custom field collection to collect information using text fields, checkboxes, dropdowns, radio buttons and more
• Multi-sign up checkout allows your users to sign up to more than sign up at once with a single checkout
• Improved “sign up listings” module to add to any web page

Stores
Our stores module is undergoing a large rebuild to make selling and fundraising easier than ever! Here are just a few of the improvements…

Project Notebooks
Our notebooks module is getting a major overhaul to make it more useful for the things a typical Committee Chair does. Upgrades include…

• New Kanban feature to manage various tasks and efforts in a easier to see display
• Improved display methods to allow your members to see into a notebook if desired or to help recruit new volunteers

Member Management
We are completely overhauling our member module to make it more flexible and easier than ever to manage everyone. Here’s how…

• Improved registration process
• Ability to create custom fields (textbox, dropdowns, radio buttons, etc.)
• Ability to create tabs of information within a user’s profile
• Create groups of fields within a tab to make information more meaningful
• A completely new and beautiful member search system
• Full social components – chatting, emailing, friending, messaging, timelines, etc.
• New “logged in/logged out” adaptive menu system for your members to access everything from friend requests, store carts, profile editing and more!
• Limit page access by certain profile field values
• More flexible grouping of members – classrooms, committees, etc. with message board capabilities

Emailer

• We will be providing an entirely new, and much more powerful, email system to allow you to create beautiful emails by either using a simple drag and drop interface or choosing from over 50 great templates.
• Integration with MailChimp and ConstantContact if desired
• Improved newsletter subscribe options for your members via sign up forms
• Auto-post your newsletters to a blog post on your website
• Extensive reporting and statistics for your emails

Website Control

• An option for our more technically savvy members, we will now be able to open the door to hundreds of thousands of plugins that can be easily added to your website.
